A Chicago Bears fan is confident they’re going to win Super Bowl LVI — he’s so confident, in fact, that, that he got a tattoo.

Permanently embedding ink onto your body is a bold decision to begin with. Doing so in an attempt to predict the future is borderline stupid. Yet, here we are.

The Bears’ latest injection of hope comes from first-round pick and quarterback of the future, Justin Fields. While every indication suggests Fields will be a tremendous talent at the quarterback position, assuming he’ll deliver right away in the form of a Super Bowl seems farfetched to say the least.

That didn’t stop one Bears fan from getting a Super Bowl champs tattoo.

You know that doesn’t make it real, right? The team still has to earn it.

Chicago Bears nowhere near Super Bowl LVI frontrunners

The Bears have a capable defense and know their quarterback of the future. Those are more pieces than most teams have, but it doesn’t remotely make them Super Bowl favorites.

As long as Andy Dalton is the starting signal-caller and Matt Nagy is calling plays, the Bears seem limited offensively. Allen Robinson is a solid No. 1, but behind him is a dark void.

Nonetheless, it would be a shock if this Bears team ended up on the podium at SoFi Stadium come February 2022. And if so, one Bears fan in particular can say he called it.
