Alabama students at Saturday’s game vs. Mercer continued a trend across southern college football stadiums with an NSFW Joe Biden chant.

Week 1 saw the return of fans to college football stadiums. It was mostly positive with fans celebrating all the things that make college football the best sport in the world.

Despite the positivity, there was a vocal minority at some stadiums across the southeast from Virginia Tech, Coastal Carolina and Texas A&M, in particular, that engaged in an anti-Joe Biden chant.

The f**k Joe Biden chant has been encouraged by those on the right-wing blogs, including Donald Trump Jr. inciting more chants to continue this weekend and beyond.

With Alabama on the road in Week 1, Crimson Tide fans go to take part in the action with the chant coming from the student section at Bryant-Denny Stadium vs. Mercer on Saturday afternoon.

Alabama student section chants ‘f**k Joe Biden’

Alabama is a red state so it’s not a surprise that they would not celebrate a president that’s a democrat. It’s worth noting that many students come from out of state but that’s a conversation for another day. Alabama fans started this chant at a Tuscaloosa bar in Week 1 and Auburn fans did it at Saturday’s home game vs. Alabama State.

What’s clear is that in the SEC it just means more anti-Joe Biden chants. I wouldn’t expect these chants to stop with Biden in the White House for the next few years.
