Texas A&M was on the ropes with Colorado when quarterback Zach Calzada lost the ball while stretching out for the goal line.

Texas A&M may not have expected to struggle with Colorado, but the Buffaloes surprised them with a 7-3 lead going into the fourth quarter.

Just when it looked like the Aggies would make it into the end zone, disaster struck.

Texas A&M quarterback Zach Calzada fumbled at the goal line

Quarterback Zach Calzada reached out trying to get the ball across the goal line. The refs called a touchdown, but replay reveal showed the ball came loose before he cross the line. The refs made the right call but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t hurt all the same.

Just like that, a go-ahead touchdown was wiped off the board with the ball going back to Colorado.

That’s the ecstasy and the agony of college football right there.

Thankfully, for Texas A&M fans, Calzada threw the go-ahead touchdown a few moments later but will it be enough to stave off Colorado’s upset attempt in Boulder?
