The Green Bay Packers suffered an unbelievably humbling loss to the New Orleans Saints to open the 2021 season. Changes to the lineup should follow.

It all went wrong for the Packers in Week 1.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers struggled. The offense failed to score a touchdown. The defense was exposed.

When all was said and done, the Saints had a 38-3 victory and Green Bay was left with figuring out where to go from here.

3 Packers who should be benched after Week 1

Kevin King

Kevin King was already an unpopular figure in Green Bay after giving up two touchdowns and committing a costly pass interference penalty in the NFC Championship game.

Instead of letting King move on in free agency, the team brought him back for a second chance. He needs a third now.

King was at the scene of the crime throughout New Orleans’ undoing of Green Bay. He got beat badly in coverage on a 55-yard touchdown and did absolutely nothing to convince fans they were wrong about him.

The Packers used a first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft on Eric Stokes. He shouldn’t wait another week to play over King.
