The Joe Burrow to JaMarr Chase connection is on full display, with the former LSU stars hooking up for a sweet 50-yard touchdown on Sunday.

This is the kind of play that Cincinnati Bengals fans were waiting to see on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. With Joe Burrow and JaMarr Chase reunited, LSU supporters are ready to watch them do their thing as well.

In the second quarter, Burrow tossed a beautiful ball deep downfield for Chase, who caught the ball in stride and then raced his way to the end zone for a touchdown. A 50-yard score for his first-career touchdown? That’s exactly what happened for Chase here.

JaMarr Chase’s first-career touchdown was a thing of beauty

That was a perfect throw by Burrow, with Chase doing the rest. With his breakaway speed, the vikings really had no chance of stopping the wide receiver from recording the first touchdown of his NFL career.

As pumped up as Bengals fans are right now, the same can be said for folks in Baton Rouge. The two playmakers were nothing short of sensational for the Tigers, helping the team record its incredible 15-0 season in 2019. That campaign was of course highlighted by winning the national title.

Chase ended up opting out of the 2020 season, while Burrow was selected No. 1 overall by the Bengals in last year’s draft. Now, Chase and Burrow are ready to keep things going now that they’re balling out together once again.

With such a young team, there’s plenty of excitement around this Cincinnati squad. While Burrow suffered his serious knee injury last year, he’s back to full health and ready to rock. Having such a dangerous weapon like Chase on the field with him is only going to make Burrow’s life even more easier.
