Since being drafted in the third round in 2012, quarterback Russell Wilson had yet to miss a start for the Seattle Seahawks. And that streak continued at Indianapolis on Sunday as the prolific passer threw three TD passes and gave his club a 21-10 halftime lead.

Seattle’s balanced attack rolled up 381 total yards and Wilson overcame three sacks to throw for 254 yards and would finish with four scores through the air – two of those to Tyler Lockett.

Andy Reid’s team has reached the Super Bowl two straight years and a season ago their first playoff game resulted in a win over the visiting Browns.

The rematch took place on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium and Steve Spagnuolo’s defense had few answers in the first half as Cleveland scored 22 points and gained 318 total yards in the first two quarters. But Patrick Mahomes wound up throwing for 337 yards and three scores and also ran for a touchdown.

The defending champions didn’t really look the part until it was necessary. The team wound up with four turnovers and ran for only 52 yards. But the Dallas’ defense failed to sack Tom Brady and when he got the ball back with 1:24 to play, it seemed inevitable that the Cowboys would succumb to the 22-year veteran.

Brady threw for 379 yards and four scores (2 interceptions) and Ryan Succop kicked the game-winning field goal with two seconds to play.
