3. Baker Mayfield will throw for three touchdowns passes on the Houston Texans

While Baker Mayfield played very well vs. the Chiefs last week, Patrick Mahomes was better, and that was the difference in the ballgame. Despite completing 75 percent of his passes for over 300 yards on the road against arguably the best team in the AFC, Mayfield did not throw a touchdown pass to any of his talented receiving targets. That all is going to change in Week 2 vs. the Texans.

Though Mayfield may not eclipse 300 yards passing on Sunday vs. Houston, he will connect with three receiving targets for pay dirt, as the Browns get to 1-1 in a rout of the Texans. I am not saying he is going to carve up the Texans secondary like Big 12 cannon fodder, but he is going to have one hell of a game for the Browns. Mayfield will be instrumental in the Cleveland victory.

As for who he throws these three touchdown passes to, that remains to be seen. Odds are, one of them will go to Jarvis Landry, who should lead the team in receiving yards. Look for Mayfield to connect with one of his many tight ends for a touchdown. For that third touchdown, look for that one to be of the 50-yard variety on an explosive play outside the numbers on a busted coverage.

Mayfield will run up and down the field on Sunday, just like he did with the Oklahoma Sooners.
