The Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bills are among the NFL teams that find themselves on upset alert entering Week 2.

Week 1 was a wild one in the NFL with a lot of insane action and crazy finishes. A few teams were also the victims of big upsets, including the Baltimore Ravens’ dramatic collapse in Las Vegas against the Raiders while the Tennessee Titans laid an egg at home against Arizona.

The stakes are high in Week 2 for all 16 teams who started 0-1 and don’t want to hit that dreaded 0-2 mark. Let’s take a look at three such teams who also have to be on upset alert this week, beginning with the Chicago Bears.

3. NFL teams on upset alert in Week 2 – Chicago Bears

Week 1 went about as poorly as possible for the Bears, who were predictably outclassed in a 34-14 blowout by the Los Angeles Rams. Chicago couldn’t do much of anything on offense as Andy Dalton continues to simply keep the seat warm for Justin Fields while the defense was carved up by Matthew Stafford all night long.

This week sees the Bears return home as three-point favorites against the Cincinnati Bengals, who picked up an impressive overtime win against the Minnesota Vikings to start their season. Cincinnati still has a ways to go to be considered a legitimate contender but they went toe-to-toe with one of Chicago’s biggest rivals and found a way to win, making them a dangerous opponent for the Bears this week.

The fact that the oddsmakers have only installed the Bears as a three-point favorite is telling since home teams usually get a three-point boost, meaning the sportsbooks would view this game as a toss-up on a neutral field. Chicago will have to play a lot better to get past a sneaky tough matchup with the Bengals.
