2. NFL teams on upset alert in Week 2 – Buffalo Bills

One of the bigger upsets in terms of point spread in Week 1 came in Buffalo as the Bills were tripped up by the Pittsburgh Steelers in a 23-16 defeat. A blocked punt led to a big momentum swing in favor of the Steelers, whose defense stifled the high-powered Buffalo offense throughout the afternoon.

While that loss will likely be a speed bump on Buffalo’s path to the playoffs, there were a few areas of concern to emerge in that game. The Bills weren’t efficient in the red zone, converting just one of four trips into a touchdown, which allowed a low-wattage Steelers offense to hang in the game.

The oddsmakers remain sold on Buffalo, however, which finds itself favored by 3.5 points as they head to Miami to take on the Dolphins. Miami was the lone AFC East team to earn a victory in Week 1, topping the New England Patriots 17-16 behind a clutch defensive performance with timely stops.

One factor that isn’t really being discussed in this game is the weather, which will feature a 90-degree day with the heat index approaching triple digits. Those are brutal conditions to play in and usually favor the home team so don’t be shocked if the Bills melt in a tough September trip to South Beach.
