If Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy leaves to coach USC, here are 3 coaches who could replace him as the OC in KC.

As the 2020 regular season drew to a close, there was no NFL head coach candidate as heralded as Eric Bieniemy.

The mastermind behind the first back-to-back Super Bowl squad since the 2012-2013 Seahawks, Bieniemy ran a notoriously deadly offense that led the league in yards with over 6,600 yards of total offense.

Yet, to the surprise of many, no one hired Bieniemy away from the Chiefs, and he’s returned to build an offense that is much deeper than it was in 2020.

But with former USC Trojans Football head coach Clay Helton’s recent firing, rumors swirl again as pundits debate who should replace him. Many believe Urban Meyer will ditch the NFL for the dreamy college gig, or that Pete Carroll would leave Seattle and return to USC.

However, Bieniemy could be the perfect candidate to take over the Trojans and lead them back to becoming a winning football program — but someone would then have to take the reins of the Kansas City Chiefs offense.

Who deserves the keys to the Chiefs kingdom? Here are 3 potential offensive coordinators that could still bring the Chiefs another Lombardi if Bieniemy leaves for Southern California.
