The Clemson football game is in a delay as they wait for the weather to clear the area before resuming play vs. Georgia Tech.

Clemson and Georgia Tech will be delayed for a little while longer due to lightning in the area of Memorial Stadium.

The two ACC teams went to the locker rooms early for what will turn out to be a very extended halftime.

A lightning delay paused the game with 32 seconds remaining in the second quarter.

When will the Clemson game resume?

When the game resumes, the teams will play out the rest of the second quarter before moving immediately to the third quarter.

The latest update from Clemson at 5:55 p.m. ET said the earliest the Clemson-Georgia Tech will resume will be at 6:55 p.m. ET. However, if there is another lightning strike within the stadium, the proposed start time will be pushed back yet again.
