Best bets and college football picks for the late slate of games in Week 3 on Saturday with action on Auburn vs. Penn State and more.

Saturday night in Week 3 of college football should be an absolute treat for fans with Auburn-Penn State headlining the slate but a plethora of other intriguing teams on the schedule as well, including Georgia, Oregon, Ole Miss, UCLA, BYU and many more all in action to cap off the day.

But we don’t just want to enjoy the games — we want to make money on them. So we’re obviously looking at the odds for the late games in Week 3 and trying our best to identify where there is money to be made by bettors.

In doing so, we’ve found our three best bets for the nightcaps in college football Week 3. (Note: All odds are courtesy of WynnBet. For more betting information, be sure to visit BetSided.)

College football picks and best bets for Week 3 midday games

3. College football best bets: Tulane vs. Ole Miss – Over 76.0

This number is exceptionally high but I’m not sure how high you’d have to make it for me not to take the over. Ole Miss’ offense can put up points on literally any team in the country and Tulane hung 35 on Oklahoma. That leads me to thinking this is just going to be one touchdown after another for 60 minutes straight, which is going to lead to an intensely high-scoring affair.

2. College football best bets: South Carolina vs. Georgia (-31.5)

We still don’t know if Stetson Bennett or JT Daniels is starting for Georgia and, frankly, it doesn’t matter. Not only did The Mailman ball out in relief of Daniels last week but the Bulldogs defense is going to give South Carolina nightmares perhaps for the rest of their lives.

1. College football best bets: Auburn vs. Penn State (-6.0)

Auburn is averaging over 60 points per game with a 2-0 record but those numbers are lying to you. The Tigers have played two awful football teams and now go play a very good Penn State defense in a packed Beaver Stadium. This is the Nittany Lions by two touchdowns in my book because Bo Nix isn’t coming through against this defense.
