Miami football fans are so done with Manny Diaz and D’Eriq King after Saturday’s awful loss.
Things are not going well for Miami football head coach Manny Diaz or his starting quarterback D’Eriq King.
Miami dropped to 1-2 on the year after getting pushed around at home by the Michigan State Spartans, 31-18. King was outplayed by his Michigan State counterpart Payton Thorne. Diaz had no answer for Mel Tucker’s football team on the sidelines either. If not for a late rally last week vs. Appalachian State, the Hurricanes could be 0-3 on the year. Their fanbase is absolutely livid now.
King is not a Heisman Trophy candidate and Diaz may be in over his head leading the Hurricanes.
Miami football fans react to bad game from D’Eriq King and Manny Diaz
King may have passed for well over 300 yards and two touchdowns, but he threw the ball an absurd 59 times and had two picks. Keep in mind that he is a super senior, now playing in his sixth year of college football, his second at Miami.

D’Eriq King should be benched. 3 ints and a fumble. 4-6 big dropped passes by the WR core. Walker had 170+ rushing on a terrible tackling defense. Manny Diaz should be on the hot seat after 3 games.

As for Diaz, his seat is getting mighty warm. Even if the ACC is not a good football conference this year, he should have his team contending for an ACC Coastal title instead of struggling at home in the non-conference slate.

Why has everyone been so hung up on D'Eriq King? I don't get it.

Maybe one day Miami will get to being “The U”, but 2021 is 100 percent not that year for them.
