Joe Burrow is having a day to forget for the Cincinnati Bengals, as he’s thrown three interceptions against the Chicago Bears.

Talk about a day to forget for Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. The former No. 1 overall pick was hoping to try and power his team to a road win against the Chicago Bears, but Burrow was a turnover machine instead.

Somehow, someway, Burrow threw three interceptions on three consecutive pass attempts. We’re not making that up. Among the interceptions was a pick-six by Roquan Smith. Smith read things perfectly to come down with it and he really made Burrow pay.

Joe Burrow has had a nightmare showing against the Chicago Bears

Burrow tried to stop Smith at the goal line, but nothing was going to stop him from reaching the end zone for the touchdown. Fortunately for Burrow, he was able to bounce back from those three interceptions, firing touchdowns to Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase.

Chase and Burrow are proving to be the electric combination that Bengals fans were hoping to see, as they hooked up for a 42-yard score. As great as that was to see, the three picks on three straight passes was tough to watch.

It opened the door for the Bears to jump out to a 20-3 lead, and while Cincinnati was able to make things interesting late, the team couldn’t overcome the mistakes from Burrow in the end, as they’re now 1-1 on the season following the 20-17 defeat.

Looking ahead, Burrow of course will be smarter taking care of the football and not put his team in positions like this. At the end of the day, too, the Bears feature an elite defense. Burrow will bounce back from this and no question learn from things too.
