Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores provided an injury update on Tua Tagovailoa’s ribs.

The Miami Dolphins saw quarterback Tua Tagovailoa exit Sunday’s game due to a rib injury.

While it has been established that Tagovailoa is injury-prone dating back to his days at Alabama, playing behind a wet paper bag of an offensive line does not help. After he succumbed to his rib injury early on in Sunday’s game vs. the AFC East rival Buffalo Bills, Tagovailoa and his backup Jacoby Brissett went on to score exactly zero points for the Miami offense. Will he start Week 3?

Flores said that Tagovailoa will be “day-to-day” with his injury suffered vs. Buffalo on Sunday.

Tua Tagovailoa injury update: Dolphins quarterback day-to-day with rib injury

Miami is lucky to be 1-1 on the year. The Dolphins looked dreadful vs. Buffalo last weekend. While they did get a big divisional win over the New England Patriots in Week 1, the Dolphins are traveling across the country to face one of the last seven unbeaten teams in the country in the Las Vegas Raiders. With the Raiders’ ability to put up points, Miami better hope Tagovailoa is available.

Tagovailoa may be a game-time decision for the Dolphins, but he is dealing with yet another injury.
