Mets and Red Sox fans team up for ‘Yankees suck’ chants at Fenway (Video)

With the New York Mets visiting the Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park was rocking with chants trolling the Yankees. 

There’s simply no denying the New York Yankees are one of the most hated teams in all of sports. People love to clown on the Bronx Bombers, as they’re the most successful baseball team in history with their 27 World Series wins.

The Yankees are so despised, that fanbases even sometimes team up together to savage them. That’s exactly what we saw happen on Tuesday night at Fenway Park, with Mets and Red Sox fans forming as one to give it to the Yankees.

Red Sox and Yankees fans have let the world know how much they hate the Yankees

Mets fans are really making their voices heard, while the locals in Boston really had no choice but to jump in on the fun. For the Red Sox, they currently hold one of the AL Wild Card spots, but the Yankees are charging. Toronto holds the other AL Wild Card position.

With the regular season about to come to a close, it’s really anyone’s guess as to who will end up making the playoffs between Boston, Toronto, the Yankees, Oakland and Seattle. With that said, you already know that the Boston faithful would love nothing more than for their hated rivals to watch the postseason from their couches at home.

At the same time, can you imagine how much fun a Yankees-Red Sox Wild Card showdown would be? It’d provide us with so much drama. We don’t have to tell you who the Mets would be rooting for in that showdown.

With things so tight, basically everyone outside of the Bronx is hoping the Yankees choke. The pressure is on for Aaron Boone and his men.
