Peyton Manning knows exactly where his nephew Arch Manning will play his college football.

When it comes to Arch Manning‘s college football recruitment, his uncle Peyton Manning knows precisely where his five-star nephew will be playing on future fall Saturdays.

During Week 2’s Monday Night Football ManningCast, Mannings’ former Indianapolis Colts teammate Pat McAfee broke the news simply by asking about Arch. As much as it pained Manning to say it in front of his younger brother Eli, Arch is not going to Tennessee or Ole Miss, but to McAfee’s beloved West Virginia Mountaineers. This is the day that WVU football changed forever.

Country Roads, take Arch home to a place he belongs: West Virginia! Mountain Manning. Take Arch home. Country Roads.

Almost heaven: Peyton Manning says Arch Manning is going to West Virginia?!

Of course, this is just Peyton having some fun with his former teammate. Arch is not going to West Virginia.

Manning, who visited Georgia over the weekend and is the nation’s top 2023 recruit is considering six schools at this time: Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas.

Not even Uncle Peyton can convince him to sing Rocky Top these days. While the Big 12 is getting bigger, it is not going to end up getting Arch in 2023.
