The Patriots and rookie Mac Jones got their first win of the season in Week 2 against the Jets. Can they make it two in a row as they host the Saints?

Well, you won’t see a more dominant defensive performance than the one the Patriots displayed against the Jets too often.

After getting their first win of 2021, New England will look to get their second consecutive win against New Orleans. Here are five bold predictions for the Patriots against the Saints

The defense will shine once more

The Patriots defense absolutely tortured the Jets offense on Sunday. Rookie Zach Wilson threw four interceptions, which eclipsed his season total of three last season at BYU.

J.C. Jackson continues to show that he is one of the best cornerbacks in all of football. He accounted for two of Wilson’s four interceptions, and the secondary as a whole was a constant nuisance for the Jets young offense.

Jameis Winston looked like the Jameis Winston we’ve all grown accustomed to watching in Week 2. He went 11-of-22 for 111 yards and two interceptions in the Saints 26-7 loss to the Panthers. The Panthers are a good defense, but the Patriots are great, and experienced. Whatever the over/under is on total interceptions thrown for Winston in Week 3, I’d confidently bet the over- The Patriots defense is going to eat Jameis alive.
