The Patriots pass rush will continue to get home

The Patriots had a big game defensively overall. Not only did they force four interceptions from Wilson, but they were constantly in his face and sacked him four times.

Josh Uche led the way with two sacks, while Carl Davis and Matt Judon each had one.

The Panthers were able to get pressure on Winston in Week 2. While they only sacked him twice, they were making him uncomfortable, which helped force the two interceptions.

Judon was one of the best signings of the offseason for any team. The fact that New England was able to add him to their pass rush to compliment guys like Deatrich Wise Kyle Van Noy (who was also a key signing whom they brought back) is huge.

Another factor that will play into New England getting pressure is the lack of talent the Saints have on the perimeter. Marquez Calloway may have looked great in the preseason, but he isn’t a starting wide receiver on any other team in the league.

New England will be able to lock down all of New Orleans’ receivers, which will allow the pass rush to eat at Jameis Winston.
