Who is calling MNF tonight?
Every Monday night, a returning crew of “Monday Night Football” announcers join together for a spectacular MNF broadcast that includes the Manning brothers.
Every Monday night this fall, a crew of seasoned ESPN broadcasters joins together for a second season of calling highly-anticipated MNF games.
NFL reporting veterans Steve Levy, Brian Griese, Louis Riddick and Lisa Salters join together for a second season, while NFL quarterbacking brothers Peyton and Eli Manning join together for what’s been dubbed “the Manningcast” on ESPN2.
Levy and Griese began calling MNF in 2019, when the broadcasting pair called the Denver Broncos-Oakland Raiders opener alongside Riddick. By 2020, all three broadcasters were designated as the primary MNF broadcasting crew. Levy serves as the play-by-play commentator, Griese serves as the color commentator, and Riddick serves as an NFL analyst. Griese is the son of Hall of Fame quarterback Bob Griese, although Brian had his own ten-year NFL career and a Super Bowl ring with the 1998 Denver Broncos. Riddick, a former NFL safety, became a pro scout for the Washington Football Team and Philadelphia Eagles before becoming an ESPN analyst in 2013.
Since joining ESPN as a general assignment reporter in 2000, Salters has become the sideline reporter and co-producer of MNF. NBA fans will also recognize Salters, as she also serves the lead sideline reporter for ESPN’s NBA coverage on NBC. Salters is also the cousin of NFL Hall of Famer and former Dallas Cowboy running back Tony Dorsett.
MNF halftime crew
Suzy Kolber hosts Monday Night Football and the halftime show. Chris Berman also gets a slotted highlight performance.
The crew will continue to call some of the most exciting matches of the season, including an AFC powerhouse matchup in Week 6, a bitter AFC East rivalry in Week 13, an NFC West shootout in Week 14, and a 2020 AFC Playoff rematch in Week 17.
