During ESPN’s Manning broadcast of Monday Night Football, Eli Manning got in a dig at Nick Saban over losing Jalen Hurts to Oklahoma.

The Manning brothers have already produced some commentary gems in their first few games commentating on NFL action.

They added Nick Saban to the mix and got gold during Monday Night’s battle between the Cowboys and Eagles.

One of the best moments of the broadcast had to do with Saban losing Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts to Oklahoma.

Nick Saban took Jalen Hurts jokes in stride

Eli Manning had the audacity to call Hurts the “Oklahoma quarterback.”

It was a fun moment that Saban had the perfect response to after Peyton insisted Hurts should get the Alabama tag.

What more could Saban do other than compliment his former quarterback?

Of course, Saban might have turned up because the likes of Amari Cooper, Trevon Diggs and Hurts were playing, but everyone knows what the real motivation behind his appearance was.

Saban is one of the many head coaches hot on the trail of Arch Manning, the top quarterback in the class of 2023 and Peyton and Eli’s nephew. If it meant getting a recruiting edge, Saban would probably appear on every Manning broadcast this season.
