2. RB Antonio Gibson vs. the Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons are currently a bottom-10 defense in points allowed versus running backs. This is great news for Antonio Gibson, who has had a solid start to his second-year campaign as the Football Team’s lead back.

The Falcons through three weeks look like the NFL’s worst team, so it’d be wise to play anyone who faces them on a given week. They are currently the 19th ranked rush defense in the NFL, giving up 118.3 yards per game.

Gibson is a legitimate back, and should exploit this soft Falcons defense. Gibson through three weeks has 45 carries and six catches, so the opportunities are plentiful for him to blow up in any given week.

Gibson is an obvious start every week, but this week should be one of his better weeks. In daily lineups, getting him as your RB1 would be a solid move, and his slight discount compared to the other high-end backs would allow you to spend a little more at other positions.
