1. RB Alvin Kamara vs. the New York Giants

With Christian McCaffrey battling a hamstring injury, Alvin Kamara is my number one ranked running back in Week 4. His matchup against the New York Giants’ mediocre defense is as good as it comes.

Kamara has been a legitimate workhorse back thus far, totaling 52 carries for 177 yards, and adding ten catches for 62 yards. That usage is why he was a top-three pick in your fantasy drafts over the summer.

Kamara and the Saints’ offense should have no issues moving the football in this one, and with the Saints likely to blow open an early-game lead, expect Kamara to get a lot of work on the ground as they manage the game.

Kamara is an unquestioned weekly start, but this will be one of his better weeks in all formats as he will pace a game that the Saints are expected to win easily. If they don’t, then he’ll see more passing game volume, so it’s a win-win for Kamara owners as it is most weeks.
