Nick Saban recruited Arch Manning big time on the ManningCast of Monday Night Football.

Alabama football head coach Nick Saban is an elite recruiter, but even he took it to another level trying to get Arch Manning to Tuscaloosa during the ManningCast of Monday Night Football.

The third generation of Manning quarterbacks is tearing it up at Isidore Newman in New Orleans. He is the top overall prospect in the Class of 2023. The five-star recruit has 12 official offers but is primarily looking at one of these six teams: Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas. It is only fitting Saban got in front of Manning’s famous uncles and did some recruiting.

Saban saying that 73 former Alabama players are on NFL rosters is not just a fact to get Manning to come to Tuscaloosa, but to perk up the ears of other four and five-star players around the country. He also mentioned the importance of being surrounded by the most talent possible. While other schools are loaded too, Alabama has been on a different level for well over a decade.

Thus far, Arch Manning has made the trek to Athens to see Georgia dismantle South Carolina in primetime. Dawg Nation’s recruitment of Manning was over the top, as seen by the lengths the Spike Squad would go to show their appreciation for him. Though no early favorite has emerged for Manning, Alabama is on the short list with the likes of Georgia, Clemson, Texas and LSU.

Saban knew exactly what he was doing on the ManningCast, and everybody saw this coming.
