1. Ezekiel Elliott will rush for over 150 yards

The Cowboys will come into this matchup with a clear plan to punish the Panthers with their physical ground game. Ezekiel Elliott is the tool Dallas will leverage to do just that.

Elliott has a productive game against the Eagles with 95 yards on just 17 carries. The team’s workhorse running back also found the end zone twice on Monday night. He’s in line for an even more productive game against Carolina.

This is a game where the Cowboys should lean on their star-studded offensive line to simply maul the opposition. Elliott has a chance to amass 25 carries in this one even if Tony Pollard steals some touches away from him.

If Elliott gets that kind of workload he’s going to wear down the Panthers’ defense as the game chugs along. The fourth quarter could turn into big play after big play for Elliott and the Dallas ground game. The more touches he gets in this game the more his team’s chances of sending Carolina home with a loss will increase.
