3. Tyler Lockett bounces back after Week 3 dip

For any fantasy football manager with Tyler Lockett in the lineup, the underrated Seattle receiver does come with a downside: there’s always off weeks here and there.

The highs and lows make sense, as the game plan changes each week and there’s also D.K. Metcalf on the offense. While Lockett caught all four of his targets for 31 yards, it was Metcalf who had the monstrous performance of six receptions for 107 yards.

The good news about rooting for Lockett is that there’s always a comeback week, and after Lockett’s first two weeks, 100 yards in Santa Clara is more than reasonable.

Lockett’s waning Week 3 production was also the result of a knee injury he suffered during the game. After being down for several minutes, Lockett stood up and was eventually able to return to play.

As of now, Lockett is not listed as injured on any injury reports. As long as he remains healthy, he’ll want to answer for his off-week and his team’s loss when facing San Francisco.
