The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off back-to-back losses and looking for a way to rebound. The Philadephia Eagles should be just what the doctor ordered.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has a date with his former team on Sunday as Kansas City heads to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles.

If Reid and the Chiefs get the win, he’ll have 100 victories with two different franchises. No other coach in NFL history has managed that.

Reid is more likely to cross that threshold if these bold predictions come through…

5 bold predictions for the Chiefs against the Eagles

5. Patrick Mahomes won’t turn the ball over

During his first season as a starter, Mahomes had a five-game streak with at least one interception. Since then, he’s only had back-to-back games with a pick twice: In December of 2019 and the most recent two losses.

Turnovers were a huge issue for the Kansas City Chiefs in defeats at the hands of the Ravens and Chargers. Turnovers will be an emphasis the entire week. And Mahomes will respond.

Mahomes has done an outstanding job in general of protecting the football during his career. After he cleaned up his interception issues in 2018, he finished second in interception rate each of the last two seasons.

He slipped up this season forcing throws he shouldn’t have, but that’ll change as the Chiefs travel to play the Eagles and he returns to his old form.
