2. Fans will be calling for Josh Gordon

Realistically, Kansas City’s offense has the elite weapons to get it done against the Eagles. Tyreek Hill is still a stud and Travis Kelce is the most dangerous tight end in the game. The trouble remains that teams don’t have to worry too much about the other targets in the passing game.

Why not double Hill when Mecole Hardman, Byron Pringle and Demarcus Robinson are the other guys to keep an eye on?

Teams will have a new weapon to worry about in a couple of weeks when Josh Gordon gets his millionth chance to rehabilitate himself in the NFL.

Unfortunately for Chiefs fans, Gordon isn’t likely to play this week. He’s had a long layoff and is expected to remain on the practice squad while he gets up to speed.

In a best-case scenario, Hardman and the rest will have a fire lit under them, knowing Gordon could take their job as soon as he’s ready to go.

More likely, the WR2 situation will remain a frustrating element for the offense, even as they find life a little easier against the Eagles than previous opponents.
