Cincinnati celebrated their victory over Notre Dame by trolling former head coach Brian Kelly with a perfectly edited video on Twitter.

What’s the best way to celebrate arguably the biggest win in program history?

Troll the former head coach you just beat.

Cincinnati had receipts ready for Brian Kelly and Notre Dame after they won 24-13.

Cincinnati used Brian Kelly’s own words against him

Brian Kelly was a three-time Big East Coach of the Year with Cincinnati before he took the job with Notre Dame in 2010.

Since then, he’s become the winningest coach in Fighting Irish history, but the Bearcats didn’t stay down without him for long. They were up and down with Butch Jones and Tommy Tuberville before landing on Luke Fickell as the next head coach to lead the program. Fickell has led them to two 11-win seasons and a 9-1 record in 2020.

The Notre Dame game was their biggest test of the season. The win puts Cincinnati in the College Football Playoff discussion with a quality victory to bolster their AAC schedule.

Cincinnati didn’t just beat Notre Dame either. They dominated them in the first half, pulling away to lead 17-0 by halftime. They let the Irish back in the game late, but Desmond Ridder closed out the game with a six-yard score on the ground to ensure the victory.

It was extra sweet to get it against Kelly. There’s no doubt about that after watching the video Cincinnati put together.
