The Kentucky Wildcats Twitter account poked fun of the Florida Gators following their win on Saturday.

As it turns out, there was not just one massive upset in Week 5 of the college football season. Shortly after the No. 3 Oregon Ducks lost to the Stanford Cardinal in overtime, the No. 10 Florida Gators earned their second loss of the season to the undefeated and unranked Kentucky Wildcats 20-13.

Given that this was the first time that Kentucky defeated Florida at home for the first time since 1986, the Wildcats were understandably stoked. That was obvious by the team’s official Twitter account sending out a meme of a Florida man trying to capture an alligator with a trash can that went viral earlier in the week. But instead of the man, the social media team superimposed their mascot’s head on the body.

Kentucky defeats Florida at home for first time in 35 years

Give the social media team all of the likes and retweets, they deserve it for this clever meme.

Kentucky actually trailed Florida 10-7 at halftime, but things changed in the third quarter. Florida called to go for a 48-yard field goal attempt for kicker Jace Christmann. However, his attempt was blocked by John Paschal, leading to Trevin Wallace recovering the ball and returning it for a 76-yard touchdown to give Kentucky a 13-10 lead.

The Wildcats extended said lead later on a nine-yard touchdown run by Chris Rodriguez Jr., which clinched the victory. Rodriguez led the Kentucky offense by rushing for 99 yards on 19 carries.

Kentucky will enjoy the victory, as they have two tough matchups coming up. First, they play the LSU Tigers next Saturday before moving on to face the Georgia Bulldogs and their dominant defense on Oct. 16.
