Tight End

Mike Gesicki: Miami Dolphins vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($5,600)

In FanDuel, you can either save up for a tight end, or you can opt for a cheaper, matchup-dependent pick.

And while the Dolphins defense hasn’t lived up to expectations, neither has the Buccaneers defense.

What was a Super Bowl-winning defense that many credited for Patrick Mahomes’ loss has been reduced to nothing by injury — literally, they’re on third-string cornerbacks on the depth chart.

Signing Richard Sherman in free agency isn’t enough to resolve their woes, not when Carlton Davis III is also out with a quad injury.

The Buccaneers will have to win by scoring, not by defense, which provides an opportunity for Gesicki in Week 5.

And Gesicki has been performing well this season: according to FantasyPros, “Gesicki has totaled 24 catches, 194 yards, and one touchdown over the last three weeks.”

Weel 4 was no different, when Gesicki caught five of six targets for 57 yards and a touchdown.

Expect Gesicki to get plenty of looks in a tantalizing defensive matchup in Tampa Bay in Week 5.
