2. Can Steph Curry repeat his MVP form?

Steph Curry came in third in MVP voting last season. He actually was second in terms of first-place MVP votes. His 32 points per game led the NBA. His true shooting percentage numbers looked really good despite having to carry his team for most of the season. He had some big-game moments, and he carried a Warriors team to the cusp of the playoffs. They lost to the Lakers in the play-in game on the back of a LeBron James 3-pointer with less than a minute left.

The Warriors tried to find players that fit better with Curry this offseason. They added Otto Porter Jr, a veteran Iguodala, and Nemanja Bjelica. They aren’t huge moves, but it seems to fit better what the Warriors already have as a foundation.

The Warriors didn’t make a huge splash, but they have stars coming back. However, looking at everything on this team, it’s still Curry’s team to advance. He needs to play equal to the level he played last year even with Klay Thompson back on the court. Who knows how he plays after two years worth of injuries. If the Warriors really are championship contenders, Curry needs to drag them there.
