Oklahoma football’s comeback win over Texas had former quarterback Jalen Hurts gloating on Twitter with a two-word celebration.

You couldn’t have blamed Oklahoma alumni for going quiet during the first half of their rivalry tilt with Texas.

Even they might not have imagined they’d be able to celebrate by the time the final whistle blew.

One such alum was Jalen Hurts, who jumped on Twitter to express his Sooner pride after Oklahoma erased the deficit and won on a last-second touchdown run.

“SOONER MAGIC,” Hurts wrote.

What more needs to be said really? It was magical the way Oklahoma turned around a dismal start and flipped the script in the second half.

Quarterback Caleb Williams, who took over for Spencer Rattler, had a lot to do with the outcome. Rattler’s time in charge of the offense appears to have run its course with Williams providing exactly the spark the Sooners needed.

Hurts would know all about that. He transferred in from Alabama and had an exceptional year for the Sooners, taking them to the College Football Playoff. He also came second in Heisman voting behind Joe Burrow.

Time will tell if Williams is able to reach similar heights, but it was a good start for him on Saturday.
