5 potential transfer destinations for Oklahoma quarterback Spencer Rattler
3. Tennessee would be a nice fit for Rattler in Josh Heupel’s offense
Rattler considered the Volunteers coming out of high school and they could be a destination for him again. Starting quarterback Hendon Hooker is a redshirt senior while Michigan transfer Joe Milton was uninspiring in his 2021 appearances. Rattler would have the opportunity to come right in and win the starting job.
2. Arizona State would bring Rattler home
If Jayden Daniels decides to leave for the NFL after this season, perhaps the best path for Rattler would be to come home. Rattler is from Phoenix, making his name as a five-star recruit at Pinnacle High School. The Sun Devils will be looking for a new signal-caller to lead their rising program while Rattler could get his head right where it all began.
1. Arizona is another hometown opportunity for Rattler
Even if a starting job doesn’t come available at ASU, Rattler could still make his way back to his home state with Arizona. The Wildcats are trying to find their way under new head coach Jedd Fisch, who could make quite the splash if he enticed Rattler to join him. Fisch is a quarterbacks coach by trade and has NFL experience on his resumé. Rattler could benefit from working under him.
