team. 87. . 3-2. Previous: . Carolina Panthers. 15

The Panthers’ defense was humbled a week ago at Arlington as Matt Rhule’s club dropped its first game of the season. Against the Eagles, Carolina opened up a 15-3 halftime lead and had limited the Birds to 88 total yards.

But quarterback Sam Darnold was picked off once in the first half and threw two more interceptions after intermission. He was also sacked three times as the sloppy Panthers were limited to a season-low 267 yards of total offense.

Chicago Bears. 14. team. 57. . 3-2. Previous:

The Bears made their way west to Las Vegas to take on a Raiders’ team that was coming off its first loss of 2021. And while Matt Nagy’s club managed to gain only 252 total yards, they did run the football 37 times for 143 yards.

The Chicago defense sacked Derek Carr three times, limited the Silver and Black to 71 yards on the ground and DeAndre Houston-Carson picked off the eight-year hurler. And the surprising Bears have now climbed above .500.

35. . 3-2. Previous: . Tennessee Titans. 13. team

After a disappointing overtime loss to the Jets, the Titans’ defense once again gave up its share of yards at Jacksonville. But this time around, Mike Vrabel’s club bent but didn’t break for the most part. Tennessee came up with a pair of takeaways while playing turnover-free football.

Workhorse Derrick Henry ran 29 times for 130 yards and three touchdowns and Vrabel’s team wound up running for 184 yards in keeping the Jaguars winless.
