Justin Fields tossed an interception against the Packers, but the refs totally blew it and should have flagged Green Bay for offsides.

Chicago Bears fans are furious right now and they have every right to be. Plain and simple, the Bears and Justin Fields were robbed on Sunday in the middle of their showdown with the Green Bay Packers.

Late in the first quarter, Justin Fields took a shot deep to the end zone and was intercepted. However, Fields thought he had a free play because Kenny Clark clearly jumped offsides. Everyone saw it, except the officials.

The refs in the Packers vs. Bears game really blew it for Chicago

This really is inexcusable. How in the world was that call missed? Fields indeed thought he had a free play, so he let it rip. He thought even if he were to be intercepted, he’d have five yards for Green Bay offsides coming his way.

Instead, Green Bay got the ball and Aaron Rodgers led his team on a game-tying drive that ended with a one-yard touchdown pass to wideout Allen Lazard. So, not only did Fields get intercepted, but that turnover led to seven points for the Packers.

This should have never happened and Chicago should have kept the ball. Straight up, they completely blew it with this error and it’s already had a big impact on the game. The group wearing stripes simply has to be better than this the rest of the way.
