QB. New York Giants. Daniel Jones. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 1. 31

It’s over for Daniel Jones quarterbacking in Gotham. Take Joe Judge with you, too

There is no way around it. It’s over for Daniel Jones. The New York Giants took a well-calculated gamble on another David Cutcliffe protege, and it didn’t work out. It’s been an atrocious last five years for the G-Men. The only positive thing you can say about them since the receiving corps went on a boat is they know how to retire Eli Manning and Michael Strahan’s numbers correctly.

Jones was abysmal vs. the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. He completed 21-of-41 passes for 181 yards, no touchdowns and three picks. Danny Fumbles put the ball on the ground twice and lost one of them. With no concept of how to hold onto the football, the Giants have no reason to hold onto Jones after this season. They stink, and they need to bleach the entire building this offseason.

Outside of maybe Detroit, this is the worst team in the NFC by a country mile. It is not like all the other organizations in their conference are highly functional either. The Giants are in need of a major facelift. You can spend a ton of money on lipstick and put it on a pig, but it is still a pig wearing lipstick. The Giants used to be good, so what the hell happened to you? What a disaster.

Good luck trying to name four teams in the NFL the Giants are better than because you cannot.
