The Los Angeles Rams looked phenomenal against the New York Giants Sunday afternoon.

Thanks to another efficient and precise performance from quarterback Matthew Stafford, the Los Angeles Rams continue to look great this season as the handled the New York Giants with ease. The Rams were able to get a relatively easy 38-11 win over New York and they’re looking like one of the best teams in the NFL right now.

And sure, the Giants aren’t a great team this season. They’re incredibly inconsistent and haven’t played well all year. There’s a very good possibility that they’ll be looking for a new head coach here in the very near future.

But that shouldn’t diminish how well LA performed and how effortless this sort of win over the Giants seemed.

The Los Angeles Rams have been very successful throughout the season so far, but are they the best team in the NFL?

At this moment, it appears as if Los Angeles might be the best team the NFL has to offer. With this win over the Giants, the Rams advanced on to 5-1 and are sitting at second in the NFC West standings with 11 regular season games remaining.

The Rams have a great, experienced quarterback in Stafford, a fairly respectable defense, and a bright head coach. This group has the potential to be a Super Bowl contender and the best team in the NFL this year.

All that said, the Arizona Cardinals would likely have something to say about all this. The Cardinals boast an unblemished 5-0 record and have an electric offense with Kyler Murray. Kliff Kingsbury has successfully turned the Cardinals around. As long as Murray is fully healthy, Arizona is a dangerous team to face.

And while the Rams have the potential to be the best in the NFL, they’ll need to start proving it when facing the Cardinals, who would also like a shot at claiming that title. Earlier this season, the Cardinals beat the Rams head-to-head, winning 37-20 in Week 4.

The Rams next matchup with the Cardinals comes in Week 14.
