David Bakhtiari seems to be well on his way towards rejoining the Green Bay Packers soon.

The Green Bay Packers are riding a five-game winning streak and could be getting back their Pro Bowl left tackle David Bakhtiari before too long.

Bakhtiari had been placed on the PUP list to start the year. He is working his way back from a torn ACL suffered last last season. Heading into Week 7’s home game vs. the Washington Football Team, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Bakhtiari will begin practicing this week. This officially opens his three-week window to return to the Packers roster after having spent time on IR.

What games could Bakhtiari potentially return to the Packers’ starting lineup this season?

David Bakhtiari injury update: Packers LT has been cleared to start practicing

Green Bay hosts Washington in Week 7. While it is highly unlikely he returns this soon from a torn ACL, keep in mind that the Packers have an especially quick turnaround in Week 8. The Packers will be up against it, as they will have to take on potentially an undefeated Arizona Cardinals team in the Valley of the Sun on Thursday Night Football in Week 8. But after that, Bakhtiari might return.

The mini bye after Thursday Night Football at Arizona means Bakhtiari could be ready to rock for the Packers’ massive Week 9 road date at the Kansas City Chiefs. Again, Bakhtiari can return at any point off IR during this three-week stretch, but the extra days off after the Cardinals game could do wonders in getting another perennial Pro Bowler back on the field for Green Bay.

By adding Bakhtiari into the fold, Green Bay should be able to run away with the NFC North again.
