Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid made it more than clear that he’s frustrated with how Ben Simmons is acting.

If you think Philadelphia 76ers fans have had it with Ben Simmons, how do you think his teammates feel? This whole situation with the point guard has become a mess, with him getting thrown out of practice and receiving a one-game suspension on Tuesday.

If you ask Joel Embiid about things, he’s clearly frustrated. While speaking to the media, Embiid was adamant in saying he’s not going to let Simmons’ attitude bring him down, but that he’s also sick of having to deal with this.

Joel Embiid won’t let Ben Simmons bring down the team chemistry for Philadelphia

Those are the strong words of a man who isn’t going to put up with this kind of behavior any longer. Simmons indeed was thrown out of practice on Tuesday. According to NBA insider Shams Charania, head coach Doc Rivers asked Simmons to go in for a defensive drill and the guard said no without hesitation.

Rivers asked a second time and Simmons once again declined, which led to the head coach telling his players to leave the court. Unreal.

Now, it’s no wonder that Simmons has been suspended for the season-opener against the Pelicans on Wednesday. His status for that game was up in the air even before this latest incident, but now we know for sure he won’t suit up.

At this point, no one knows if Simmons will ever play in another game for the 76ers again. He’s getting blasted for acting like a child and it’s hard to argue with that right now. Embiid, Rivers and many others in Philadelphia are tired of this act from Simmons.
