Watch these Ole Miss and LSU football fans get into a nasty brawl at Vaught-Hemingway.

On the most sacred of Ole Miss football Saturdays, watch these Rebel pledges defend their turf in the Vaught-Hemingway Stadium bleachers from some overzealous LSU football fans on Eli Manning Day.

While the older brothers and their dates were enjoying some delicious red solo cup concoctions at The Grove, this band of pledge brothers were more than willing to get black and blue in their blue blazers. On a day where Manning joined his father and the late Chucky Mullins forever in Ole Miss lore, these 19-somethings went viral on the internet for all the wrong reasons. Bless their hearts.

Who knew the Magnolia Bowl could ever yield such a magnificent brawl in the bleachers?

Tom Petty might be more of a Gainesville thing, but these boys won’t back down. One could argue they put up a more serious fight than the entire Landshark Defense did in any game last year. All the while, Ole Miss is all aboard the Lane Train, as the Rebels improved to 6-1 on the year and all the way to No. 10 in the latest AP Top 25 poll. When it just means more, it just means more.

Here is to these fine young men’s pledgeship coming to an end in the next few weeks or so.
