The 2021 World Series will be between the Atlanta Braves and the Houston Astros.

A pair of former National League rivals will clash for baseball’s ultimate prize this October, as the Atlanta Braves will take on the Houston Astros in the 2021 World Series.

The Braves are back in the Fall Classic for the first time since 1999. It is a storyline 22 years in the making. In fact, the last time Atlanta got this far in the postseason, it was with the help of former shortstop turned bench coach Walt Weiss making the play of his life vs. Houston in Game 3 of the 1999 NLDS. Yes, the Braves and the Astros used to be National League rivals back in the day.

As for the Astros, they switched leagues almost a decade ago. After a painful rebuilding process, Houston has become the preeminent team in the Junior Circuit. This is their third trip to the Fall Classic in five years. Houston won its first World Series in franchise history in 2017. While the Astros got back two years later, they fell to the Washington Nationals in Game 7 in 2019.

So what television channel will you need to tune into to watch the 2021 World Series unfold?

As it is every October, FOX has the exclusive broadcasting rights of the World Series. That means we will be getting plenty of Joe Buck and Braves legend John Smoltz in the booth. FOX does an incredible job of putting on big-time sporting events, so this should be a piece of cake for the broadcasting company. All they are hoping for is for this best-of-seven series to go at least six.

Game 1 will commence at 8:09 p.m. ET, 7:09 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Oct. 26 from Minute Maid Park.
