Week 8 has quite a few exploitable matchups that will benefit your fantasy team. These five are some of the top of the week.

In fantasy football, it’s common practice to hone in on favorable matchups when deciding who to put in your lineup. The challenge, though, is finding these matchups and then getting the player to live up to expectations.

These five guys all have very favorable matchups and should put up big points for your fantasy squad this week.

Five best matchups for Week 8 of the fantasy football season.

5. QB Jalen Hurts, Eagles (vs. Detroit Lions)

Jalen Hurts has been up and down on the football field, but in terms of fantasy football, he’s actually QB2 behind Tom Brady in total points scored. Thanks to his rushing ability, Hurts has been a solid fantasy starter this season.

Hurts gets a dream matchup against a Detroit Lions defense that is bad all around. They surrender 263 passing yards per game and 120 rushing yards per game. Both of these are ranked in the bottom ten in the league.

Hurts should vie for a top-three quarterback finish this week, and will be a solid start in any format due to his stabilized floor that consists of plenty of pass attempts and guaranteed rushing yards as a dual-threat quarterback.
