1. Geno Smith finds a way to lift Seattle over Jacksonville

Unfortunately for Smith, he simply hasn’t played well in his two stars for Pete Carroll and the Seahawks in 2021. While he might be a veteran backup, the Steelers and Saints have made him look terrible in back-to-back games.

With that said, Smith has to wake up and make needed plays this weekend against a struggling Jacksonville side. If Smith chokes again and Seattle falls to 2-6, the writing will be on the wall for Smith and his future with the team.

Having said that, we don’t think Smith will repeat his performances from Week 6 and Week 7. He’ll take advantage of facing Jacksonville and throw for north of 200 yards and at least one score, potentially to Lockett, in a victory for Seattle.
