Atlanta Falcons: Texans’ S Justin Reid

The Falcons are a subpar football team all-around, but one area they are severely lacking any kind of energy or playmaking is their secondary. Neither Duron Harmon or Erik Harris have produced in any way that the Falcons would have liked when they signed them.

Justin Reid would immediately slide into their starting safety role, and offers the versatility to play both the strong and free safety spots. For an eventually rebuilding Atlanta team, trading for and locking in a piece like Reid would be huge, and someone they can form their secondary around.

For the Texans, they are headed towards a disastrous season, and Reid is playing on the last year of his deal. Barring a franchise tag, it’s hard to imagine him wanting to go back to playing losing football. Trading him and getting as much back in return would be their best move.
