New England Patriots: Titans’ LB Rashaan Evans

The Patriots have rostered three long-time linebackers in Dont’a Hightower, Kyle Van Noy, and Jamie Collins for what seems like years. They are all veteran options, and they also have young early draft pick Ja’Whaun Bentley playing heavy snaps for them too. What they are lacking now is a quick, instinctual, every-down linebacker.

The Titans have shown no indication they’re willing to move on from Rashaan Evans, but with Jayon Brown’s consistent performance and the emergence of David Long Jr., they may be able to afford to move him and recoup crucial value.

New England lacks speed in the middle of the field and Evans can provide the spark that they need, and he just feels like a typical Belichick linebacker.
