1. Saints put up a fight against Buccaneers, but it won’t be enough

The Saints did have the bragging rights over the Buccaneers in the 2020 regular-season by winning both of their meetings. However, Tampa Bay got the last laugh with the playoff win over New Orleans and went on to win Super Bowl 55.

Who will win the first meeting between the two NFC South rivals in 2021?

The Saints have had their ups and downs this season, such as the high of blowing out the Green Bay Packers in Week 1 and the low of getting easily defeated by the Carolina Panthers the following weekend. The defense remains New Orleans’ strength, while the offense is still a work in progress.

Meanwhile, the Buccaneers have gone on a tear throughout the season. They defeat the easy opponents while still pulling out wins against admirable challengers (i.e. Week 4 against the New England Patriots). Even though their defense is not as dominant as they were last year, the Buccaneers’ loaded offense makes up for it.

The Saints will put up a fight, but it won’t be enough to defeat the Buccaneers.

Final Score: Buccaneers 38, Saints 24
