14. Baylor Bears

Baylor is once again having another nice season at 7-1 after dispatching the Longhorns at home. Baylor is trying to secure a spot in the conference championship game and will have some games coming up to focus on, including against Oklahoma at home and at Kansas State, where seasons can go to die.

The Bears should move up a spot or two and be in a prime spot to work toward the lower end of the teens. It was a nice day for Abram Smith, who picked up over 100 yards and the ground and found the end zone.

13. Oklahoma State Cowboys

Good teams respond to tough losses and Oklahoma State did just that at home as it demolished Kansas a week after losing at Iowa State. While lots of programs demolish Kansas, it does come a week after the Jayhawks gave Oklahoma a fight.

The Cowboys goal is to win the conference and they’re in line to make it if they can knock off Oklahoma at the end of the year. With a win over Baylor already, Oklahoma State has that win in the back pocket to lean on as well. Right now, the Cowboys should push a spot up to 14th.
