Noted Michigan State alum Magic Johnson had tons of things to say after his Spartans pulled off a comeback win over Michigan.
Magic Johnson loves Michigan State. So it should come as no surprise the Spartan alum was on social media vocally celebrating a major rivalry victory.
Michigan State downed Michigan, 37-33, outscoring the Wolverines 15-3 in the fourth quarter. It was a statement victory that’ll go down as an instant classic.
Nobody enjoyed the comeback more than Magic.

Magic Johnson was elated with Michigan State football and had every right to be
Johnson was sure to hit all the relevant parties. Running back Kenneth Walker III indeed put in a Heisman performance. The highlight reel from his five-touchdown performance will almost certainly get him an invite to New York.
Head coach Mel Tucker kept his team focused even as they fell behind. He earned his second victory over Jim Harbaugh in two meetings, doing something no other Michigan State head coach had ever managed.
And the crowd at Spartan Stadium provided the spark the green and white needed to grab hold of the lead and keep it when it mattered most.
Michigan State is undefeated at 8-0 with hopes of securing a Big Ten Championship and a College Football Playoff berth. You can bet Magic will be there for the whole ride.
