Pick up depth on the offensive line

When the Browns lined up against the Steelers, they had their projected starting offensive line together for the first time since Week 1.

Obviously, having the line at full strength didn’t yield immediate benefits. They may need some time to find their groove again.

Still, the mixing and matching on the offensive line is a reminder that nothing is certain in the NFL. Having strong depth in the trenches can make all the difference.

So Cleveland should take a look at one of the offensive linemen on the trade block as the deadline approaches.

The Eagles have former first-round pick Andre Dillard available at offensive tackle while the Chiefs could part ways with guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif for the right price.

The former hasn’t worked out in Philly but he had clear talent coming out of college and it could take the right place to get it out of him. The latter hasn’t played since he opted out of the 2020 season because of COVID-19 so he’s not a sure thing. Still, he has starting experience on a Super Bowl-winning team.
